ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Angie.
I am currently working as the Technical Lead of the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Program for MissionU (Acquired by WeWork). Prior to this, I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor's in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Computational Modeling and minor in Science and Mathematics Education. As much as I enjoyed my experience at Cal, I also wanted to gain hands-on experience in a different learning setting, which is when I decided to attend General Assembly for their Data Science program.
As a proud first-generation student, hard work, creativity, and resourcefulness are in my DNA. I’m looking to continuously learn new tools, technologies and techniques. I like to work on interesting problems that add real value. I have collaborated on analysis work with multi-departmental teams and mentored many students. I am passionate about enabling professionals and students to become more data driven in their current professions and converting more people into Data Nerds! I'm continuously looking to take on opportunities that combine my passions and experiences in data science, education, and social impact.
